Betek Panzer Primer

It is a Silicone-grafted® Frontier Polymer® based exterior paint primer with high pigmented, high hiding power, adherence and penetration power that provides maximum resistance against whitening that may occur as a result of alkali efflorescence on exterior facades thanks to its Micamer® Protection Effect.

Micamer® Protection Effect is the maximum prevention of the dissolution of alkali salts to the paint surface and the whitening that may occur thanks to the laminar layers formed by the special mica fillers used in the primer formulation.

Thanks to this special filler formulation developed against efflorescence, and to the use of Frontier Polymer Technology® binder, not only high adherence strength is provided, but also a binding bridge is established between the paint and the surface. It reduces paint consumption. Thanks to its high breathability, it allows the moisture within the texture to come out. It prevents the paint to be applied on it from being absorbed differently by the surface.

Application Surfaces

Betek Panzer Primer can be applied on acrylic and mineral based, plasters, concrete, exposed concrete, betopan, discoloured but self-supporting old painted and terracite type surfaces. The defects on the application surface must be removed in the best way possible. For topcoat paints with low hiding power warning, Betek Panzer Primer should be applied in a tone suitable for the colour tone of the topcoat paint and by tinting as recommended systemically.

Consumption

Depending on the type, absorbency, texture of the application surface, as well as on the desired design, an area of 7-13,3 m2 can be primed in a single coat with 1 Liter. It should be noted that there will be an average of 40% more consumption on thick textured surfaces (sprinkling plaster, comb mosaic, thick grain texture, etc.). A controlled sample study should be carried out for exact consumption.
